Description & Technical Information
For the first time in the history of the House, Dom Pérignon have released five consecutive vintages - 2002 to 2006 - all stunning and unique representations of their respective harvests. To celebrate, the House have released a unique six vintage case featuring the five consecutive vintages and a rare bottle of 1999 - exclusive to The Finest Bubble! Beautifully presented in two stunning three-bottle Dom Pérignon branded black wooden cases, this is an amazing opportunity to taste six of the best vintages of Dom Pérignon, the most famous prestige cuvée in Champagne.

Dom Pérignon 1999: An exquisite vintage that is now increasingly rare due to its age. Smokey and citrus flavours on the palate combine with a generous helping of fruit. Although perfect for drinking right now, the secondary flavours that develop as champagne matures are only just coming through - this is still capable of ageing well for many more years.

Dom Pérignon 2002: This one-of-a-kind vintage expresses all the power of grapes picked at the peak of their maturity, while going far beyond the character of the year, enhancing the natural richness and lending extra precision and depth. Widely recognised as the best Dom Pérignon on the market today.

Dom Pérignon 2003: A higher percentage of Pinot Noir grapes show through this broad and powerful palate. A vintage saved by the summer heat and described as "high in phenolics", this is a big champagne. Less elegant than 2002, but a great glass of Dom Pérignon.

Dom Pérignon 2004: A vintage that experienced very consistent weather throughout. Both the significant amount and the size of grape bunches contributed to a champagne that has an abundance of forward ripe fruit flavours and a refreshing balance of acidity.

Dom Pérignon 2005: The smallest harvest of Richard Geoffroy’s tenure with production 20-25% of the volume of 2004. The exceptional quality from selection ensures the 2005 is incredibly light: a champagne which evolves more on the palate as the flavours develop.

Dom Pérignon 2006: Beautifully balanced champagne that is already showing hallmarks of a superb vintage, with great richness and elegance. Similar weather conditions as 2002 and the longest harvest on record have created a wine full of complexity and creaminess.

News Article: We conducted our own Dom Pérignon vertical blind tasting with Jancis Robinson MW. Read our review of the tasting and all six vintages here.
