“The first jeroboam showed a little bit of TCA, alas, but very exciting underneath. Second jeroboam: powerful, pungent nose. Intense and a little bit smoky. More youthful by quite a mile than the magnum. Long and vibrant.
First jeroboam: disgorged 2015. Second jeroboam: disgorged February 2019.”

“Disgorged 1997 - Yellow golden in color; the intensely toasty, nutty aromas are followed on the palate by an amazing concentration of wonderfully rich, intense, full peach and apple fruit, with a fine, lively mousse and excellent vinosity shot through with a super-fresh blade of linear acidity. This seems to me to be as close to perfect as Vintage Champagne gets”

“Bottle. Originally called Oenothèque. To be sold from September 2019. Disgorged originally 1998 or 1999. Fewer bottles available than bigger sizes!
Pale! Intensity and freshness. Stunningly lively. Real zest and introversion.”
