Champagne to Celebrate a 10th Anniversary – Vintage 2015

With a lot of champagne houses releasing 2015 vintages, we couldn’t leave it out. Plus, if you’re having a 10th anniversary or attending someone else’s… you have to drink something, right?! A bottle of vintage 2015 is also a must-have if you’re celebrating a decade of marriage this year. Although most releases have only occurred in the last year or two, 2015 is shaping nicely as a vintage. The 2015 vintage has a lot of common denominators with the 2003 vintage but the 2015s are showing a better balance of weight and freshness.

Palmer & Co Grands Terroirs 2015
Grands Terroirs is a combination of the prestigious Premiers and Grands Crus vineyards of the Montagne de Reims and the remarkable savoir-faire of Palmer & Co, in a year of extraordinary weather conditions.

Veuve Clicquot Vintage 2015
The dominance of Pinot Noir and touch of Chardonnay deliver structure and character, trademark of the Veuve Clicquot’s style.

Louis Roederer Brut Nature 2015
Produced solely from vineyards located on the Cumières terroir, more clay influenced, the Pinot Noir  & Chardonnay grapes have intense vinosity and exceptional maturity that no dosage is added to this cuvée. The champagne is also at a lower pressure of 4 atmospheres of pressure when typically most champagnes are at 6 atmospheres, this lighter fizz is all part of the techniques used by Chef de Cave Jean-Baptiste Lacaillon to broaden the texture and soften the acidity.

Leclerc Briant Abyss Brut Zero 2015
A real unique bottle with Leclerc Briant renown winemaking pioneers. The fourth release based on wines from the 2015 harvest, blended and bottled in June 2016, disgorged in March 2019 and then off to Brittany in June 2019 where it spends just over 12 months 60 meters under the sea before being retrieved in Autumn 2020. A must taste experience.

Pierre Peters Les Montjolys Blanc de Blancs Grand Cru 2015
Les Montjolys single-vineyard cuvee comes from seven parcels within the only site in Le Mesnil-Sur-Oger where argile a silex is found. The deep clay soils give Les Montjolys its richer, smokier character and more rounded, creamy texture. A fuller style than the well known Chetillons vineyard.
