What difference does a bigger bottle make? I’ll only have the one – but make it a magnum

“I recently attended a tasting hosted by famed critic Jancis Robinson OBE with Champagne specialist The Finest Bubble.

We tasted top Champagne from standard bottles and magnums (double bottle size) to see if we could spot which was which.

These wines were stellar, including Louis Roederer Cristal 1996, Bollinger RD 2002, Taittinger Comtes de Champagne 2002 and Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill 1998.”
