The House of Louis Jadot has been producing exceptional Burgundy wines since its founding in 1859 by Louis Henry Denis Jadot. For the past 150 years Louis Jadot has continued as one of the great names of Burgundy and has gained international reputation for its superb red and white Burgundy wines. Louis Jadot is not only one of the largest producers of estate Burgundies of the Cote d'Or, it is one of the most celebrated exporters of premium Burgundies, owning close to 140 acres of vineyards from 24 of the most prestigious sites in Burgundy.
The commune of Savigny-lès-Beaune is in the north of the Côte de Beaune and produces 90% red wines.
Les Guettes is located in the middle of the commune on gravely, stony chalk soil. It faces south–southeast at 220 meters to 360 meters in altitude. The wine is matured for 12 to 15 months in oak barrels before bottling.
Weather: The 2023 vintage in Savigny-lès-Beaune was shaped by a mild winter, early budbreak, and ideal flowering conditions that produced a healthy, generous crop. Warm summer temperatures were balanced by timely rainfall, helping vines avoid excessive drought stress and maintain freshness. Harvest took place during a hot September, but careful picking preserved balance and aromatic precision.

Tasting Note: This wine mingles notes of pear and peach with hints of white flowers and almond paste in an inviting bouquet. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and fleshy, it's round and enveloping, with a generous, charming profile this year. - Tasting note by William Kelley
